Position Summary

We are seeking an outgoing and dependable Service Porter to join our team. The role involves greeting customers in the service department and assisting with vehicle movement and lot maintenance to ensure a smooth and professional service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude and guide them to the appropriate service personnel.
  • Install disposable protective coverings on vehicles, including seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats.
  • Deliver keys and repair orders to Service Advisors after parking vehicles.
  • Retrieve vehicles for customers at pickup, ensuring a courteous send-off.
  • Maintain cleanliness and damage-free condition of vehicles while on lot or in service areas.
  • Assist with cleaning and custodial tasks in the shop and lot areas.
  • Adhere to safety and security procedures at all times.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support service department operations.

Qualifications

  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance with a positive and dependable attitude.

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions clearly.
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy objects as required.
  • Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and operate vehicles with both automatic and standard transmissions.
