Position Overview

The Service BDC Business Development Representative manages incoming service inquiries and delivers excellent customer service via phone and in person. This role schedules service appointments from phone calls, website requests, and online chats. It also supports the service department through clerical and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule, confirm, and follow up on all incoming service and sales appointment inquiries
  • Coordinate customer questions and issues with appropriate service personnel
  • Respond to phone and internet service leads to assist customers
  • Make outbound calls to remind customers of upcoming appointments and required services
  • Assist customers with selecting suitable scheduling options for vehicle service
  • Provide information about service pricing, duration, warranty coverage, and service packages
  • Prepare paperwork and documentation such as forms and reports
  • Track loaner vehicle availability for customers
  • Confirm special order parts status
  • Offer general administrative support to the service department as needed

Work Hours

This is a full-time position with typical business hours. Specific scheduling details will be provided during the interview.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Preferred experience in administrative, clerical, call center, or customer service roles
  • Familiarity with the automotive industry is an advantage
  • Friendly and helpful attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor and reliable work ethic
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
