Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to serve as the primary liaison between our customers and automotive technicians. This role is essential in managing service requests, communicating repair needs, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule services and repairs for customers in person or by phone, ensuring accurate diagnosis and prompt service.
  • Communicate repair status updates and manage customer expectations, including obtaining authorization for additional work.
  • Recommend repair and maintenance services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Coordinate quality control inspections and road tests for completed repairs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle operations, warranties, recalls, and service bulletins.
  • Ensure all service documentation complies with applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Follow and enforce safety policies and procedures within the service department.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in a dealer-level or large automotive service facility preferred.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and reliable work ethic.
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions clearly.
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Safety-conscious and dependable.
