Position Overview

As a Sales Manager at Victory Nissan of Mechanicsville, you will lead and motivate the sales team to meet and surpass vehicle sales targets. Your responsibilities include managing staff, developing sales forecasts, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and implement effective sales strategies
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate sales team members
  • Set and manage sales quotas and objectives to ensure targets are consistently achieved
  • Prepare timely and accurate sales activity reports
  • Monitor vehicle inventory to maintain a diverse and appropriate selection
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and support the sales closing process
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support dealership goals

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training is a plus
  • Preferred sales experience in any field; dealership experience is desirable
  • Familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds software is advantageous
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Experience supervising and managing sales teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills
  • Outgoing personality with excellent public interaction abilities
  • Professional, reliable, and accountable work ethic
