Position Summary

As a Sales Consultant, you will engage customers by providing expert guidance about our new and pre-owned vehicles. You will promote vehicle features, accessories, and financing options in a professional manner to facilitate prompt sales and build lasting customer relationships. We value confident, customer-focused individuals who enjoy working in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with vehicle selection and explain model options, features, and value-added products
  • Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety measures
  • Facilitate vehicle delivery by clearly explaining operations, warranty coverage, and service requirements
  • Maintain accurate and thorough sales documentation
  • Negotiate sales professionally and ethically to close deals
  • Stay informed about vehicle inventory, financing programs, and current promotions
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing education
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations

Work Hours

Full-time schedule, hours vary depending on dealership needs.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Professional appearance and reliable work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales goals
  • Strong focus on safety and customer service
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions clearly
