Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Parts Manager to lead our Parts department. This role involves managing purchasing, inventory control, pricing, merchandising, and advertising. You will oversee a team of professionals, ensuring high standards of customer service and daily performance. Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, along with strong leadership skills, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Parts department
  • Motivate and develop staff through coaching and training
  • Ensure departmental goals are met consistently
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in all service areas
  • Manage paperwork, records, and documentation accurately
  • Stay updated on vehicle parts, accessories, and promotions
  • Locate parts and arrange installation as needed
  • Monitor and maintain parts inventory and storage areas
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive service and parts management
  • Proven experience in supervising or managing staff
  • Strong leadership and motivational abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Dependable and professional work ethic
  • Customer service and safety-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency with computers and internet applications
  • Experience with dealership systems, such as Reynolds and Reynolds, is a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
