Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and professional Business Development Representative (BDC) to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming sales and service inquiries. You will handle calls, greet visitors, and support the Sales and Service departments with administrative duties to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming sales and service appointment requests via phone and internet
  • Schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments, including missed appointments
  • Coordinate customer questions and issues with relevant departments
  • Track sold vehicles and maintain hot sheets
  • Confirm special order parts availability
  • Assist with follow-up on phone and internet sales leads
  • Maintain paperwork, records, and prepare necessary documentation
  • Provide general administrative support to Sales and Service teams
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at our dealership in Crossville, Tennessee. You will work in a professional, drug-free, and non-smoking environment that encourages employee growth and advancement.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in administrative, clerical, call center, or customer service roles preferred
  • Professional and dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Basic knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient with computers, internet, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with dealership software and Reynolds and Reynolds systems is beneficial
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and interpersonal skills
