Position Summary

The Business Development Center (BDC) Internet Manager oversees all activities within the BDC and Internet Department. This role manages inbound and outbound customer communications via phone, text, and internet channels. The manager ensures a smooth transition for customers once they arrive at the dealership and supports the sales team through effective lead management and coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Convert internet and phone opportunities into customers.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to maintain accurate vehicle merchandising, including photos, descriptions, and pricing.
  • Schedule and confirm customer appointments.
  • Implement and maintain both short-term and long-term internet lead follow-up processes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all inbound sales communications.
  • Manage CRM work plans for sales associates and provide coaching to improve performance.
  • Act as a liaison between the Service Drive Coordinator and the Sales Department.
  • Stay informed about current advertising campaigns and incentives.

Additional Information

Experience with eLead, CarWars, and vAuto systems is preferred. Toyota experience is also a plus. This description outlines key duties but is not exhaustive; additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Job Requirements:
  • Experience in automotive BDC or Internet management.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems, lead providers, and website backend tools preferred.
  • Highly professional with dependable work ethics.
  • Familiarity with the automotive industry is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with dealership systems and Reynolds and Reynolds is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
