Position Summary

We are seeking a professional and motivated Automotive Service Advisor to serve as the key communicator between our customers and service technicians. The Service Advisor will manage all aspects of the service and repair process, ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication and efficient service coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule service appointments in person or by phone, ensuring prompt and accurate vehicle diagnosis.
  • Communicate repair status updates to customers, notify them of any delays, and obtain authorization for revised repair estimates.
  • Make repair and maintenance recommendations while managing customer expectations.
  • Confirm all completed repairs undergo quality control and road testing before delivery.
  • Stay informed about vehicle operation, warranties, recalls, and Technical Service Bulletins (TSB).
  • Meet or exceed all service level targets.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation, safety policies, and all regulatory standards.
  • Attend all required meetings, training, and educational classes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations.

This role requires working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong focus on customer service and professionalism.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
  • Strong safety awareness and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions accurately.
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
