Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service technicians. Your responsibility is to ensure a seamless and professional communication experience while coordinating service and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule service appointments for customers in person or by phone to diagnose vehicle issues accurately
  • Communicate repair status to customers, managing expectations and obtaining authorization for updated estimates when necessary
  • Recommend appropriate repairs and maintenance based on vehicle condition
  • Ensure all completed repairs undergo quality control and test drives before delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle operations, warranties, campaigns, Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs), and applicable regulations
  • Comply with and promote safety policies and ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Attend all required staff meetings, training, and educational sessions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service orientation and professionalism
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and reliable work ethic
  • Ability to follow instructions and comprehend technical information
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
