Position Summary

As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will help customers select vehicles that meet their needs while providing detailed information about our products and financing options. This role requires a professional, customer-focused approach to create a positive buying experience and encourage repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in choosing new or pre-owned vehicles, explaining model options, features, and value-added services
  • Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety guidelines
  • Facilitate vehicle delivery by clearly explaining features, warranties, and maintenance requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales documentation
  • Negotiate sales ethically and professionally to close deals
  • Stay informed about vehicle inventory, accessories, financing options, and current promotions
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing education to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable, professional, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong customer service orientation and safety awareness
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Professional appearance and positive work ethic
  • Ability to read and understand instructions clearly
