Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Automotive Sales Consultant who enjoys working with customers and has a passion for vehicles. This role requires a knowledge of automotive products and services or a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will guide customers through vehicle selection, financing options, and promote both new and pre-owned inventories.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with vehicle selection, emphasizing model options, features, and value-added products.
  • Promote finance and purchase options in line with dealership policies.
  • Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
  • Facilitate vehicle delivery by explaining operation, warranty, and servicing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales documentation.
  • Stay informed about current vehicle models, accessories, promotions, and financing options.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations.

Work Hours

This is a full-time position with standard dealership hours. Flexibility in scheduling may be required to meet customer needs and dealership events.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work independently.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on safety.
  • Basic computer and internet skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions effectively.
