Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Automotive Sales Consultant to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong interest in automobile sales, providing knowledgeable and professional support to our customers throughout their purchasing journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with vehicle selection by explaining model options, features, benefits, and financing choices.
  • Conduct vehicle test drives while adhering to all traffic laws and dealership policies.
  • Provide clear vehicle operation instructions and explain warranty and servicing requirements during delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales documentation and records.
  • Negotiate sales agreements ethically, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely transaction closure.
  • Stay informed on all current vehicle inventory, accessories, financing options, and promotional offers.
  • Attend required training sessions, staff meetings, and professional development classes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations.

Work Hours

This is a full-time position with a standard five-day workweek.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Professional and dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales goals.
  • Customer service focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions clearly.
